Prescribing Opioids is controversial with evidence of both significant underutilization and over utilization. There is some evidence to support the efficacy for chronic non- malignant pain, but community and individual harms are increasing and are respectively reported. A detailed visualization on the prescription of Opioid Drugs by medical facilities during the year 2017 is presented.
Social media is not just a platform where people talk to each other, It has become a medium where people express their interests, share their views and displeasures. Internet is a major source of spreading terrorism through speeches and videos. It has become necessary to analyze this information to avoid any form of hate crime or violence. This project aims at text mining to check prominence of a keyword commonly used in terrorist activities. So, this system can be used to point out users spreading hate crime.
Parking Violations are very high in New York City and hence the parking fines are set to a higher margin. The NYC Department of Finance collects data on every parking ticket issued in NYC. This data is made publicly available to aid in ticket resolution and to guide policymakers.
